At 570 The Dominion of Canada General, we are seeking a skilled Enterprise Cloud Architect Specialist to join our team.

About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned architect to interface directly with senior technology leaders and transform our current business and technology capabilities. As an Enterprise Cloud Architect Specialist, you will be a dedicated contributor to senior Technology and Business leaders as they define a target state, roadmaps, and identify new and emerging technologies that will transform and optimize the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architecture responsibility within a major segment of Technology Architecture.
  • Leads technology proof of concepts to ensure feasibility of architecture solutions.
  • Design and implement secure, scalable, and cost-effective Cloud solutions in accordance with best practices, including expertise in cloud migration strategies.
  • Lead and execute cloud migration projects, ensuring a seamless transition from on-premises to cloud environments while minimizing downtime and ensuring data integrity.
  • Hands-on prototyping of new technology solutions.
  • Partner with Software Engineering to execute proof of technologies.
  • Provides architecture direction for engineers in support of a technical pattern.
  • Displays strong thought leadership in pursuit of modern architecture principals and technology modernization.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field or equivalent with 4+ years of technology engineering experience.
  • Organizational experience in an agile operating model.
  • Established work in proof of concepts and technology.
  • Strong proven software engineering experience.
  • Supports technology target state, roadmaps that aligned to short- and long-term business goals.
