Job Description

Foilocn is seeking a highly experienced Principal Enterprise Architect to join our team. As a key member of our technology leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our organization.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned architect to lead the design and implementation of our enterprise architecture, driving innovation and business growth through technology. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to develop and implement architectures that meet our business needs, while ensuring alignment with industry best practices.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement the overall enterprise architecture, aligning with business objectives and industry trends.
  • Lead the development of architectural standards, patterns, and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality across the organization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and identify opportunities for improvement, resulting in optimized system performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Analyze and document existing systems, identifying areas for modernization and migration to cloud-based solutions.
  • Develop and manage the technical vision and strategy for our cloud infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry leading practices.
Requirements
  • 10 years of experience in designing and implementing Microservices architecture.
  • 10 years of experience in designing and implementing Azure Cloud Infrastructure.
  • 10 years of experience in designing and implementing NOSQL databases such as CosmosDB (DocumentDB) or any document-oriented database program (SQL).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified Azure Developer would be an asset.
Skills and Experience
  • Deep understanding of cloud computing, containerization, and DevOps principles.
  • Experience with Azure services such as Service Bus, Container Services, Cosmos DB, Data Factory, Event Grid, HD Insight, IoT Hub, and Key Vault.
  • Strong knowledge of software design patterns, principles, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering complex IT projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. A competitive salary range for this position is $180,000 - $220,000 per annum, depending on experience.
