Job Title: Retail Store Department Head

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Department Head to join our team at Deluxe Landscaping Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign sales workers to duties and oversee their performance
  • Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles
  • Authorize return of merchandise and manage cash transactions
  • Establish work schedules and supervise the activities of workers
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient stock levels
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to achieve sales targets

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in retail sales or management is an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliability and flexibility
