Job Title: Retail Store Department Head

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Department Head to join our team at Deluxe Landscaping Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Retail Store Department Head will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, including managing sales staff, maintaining inventory, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and oversee their performance
  • Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles
  • Authorize return of merchandise and manage cash transactions
  • Establish work schedules and ensure the store is well-staffed at all times
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure the store is well-stocked and visually appealing
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure the store runs smoothly and efficiently
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in a retail management role
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
