Job Title: Retail Store Department Head

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Department Head to join our team at Deluxe Landscaping Ltd. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they meet the company's standards.
  • Authorize the return of merchandise and resolve any issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
  • Establish work schedules and manage cash effectively.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure the smooth operation of the store.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in retail operations is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment:
