Software Development Engineer II, Strategic Sourcing

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer II to join our Strategic Sourcing team at Amazon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and deploying changes to critical sourcing systems while maintaining high uptime.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop scalable, maintainable, and high uptime systems
- Work effectively with non-tech stakeholders to gather requirements, identify risks, and translate business use cases to technical requirements
- Think Big and Invent and Simplify to come up with high impact/low churn solutions to difficult problems
- Deliver Results to ensure committed timelines are met despite blockers
- Investigate and resolve issues across multiple systems/teams
We are a part of the Strategic Sourcing organization, where we design, build, and maintain large scale systems to improve Amazon's inbound supply chain. Our team owns systems that collectively define what are a vendor's inbound supply chain capabilities and limitations.
Requirements- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
