The Customer Trust Team

The Customer Trust team is responsible for developing tools, frameworks, and APIs that safeguard customer privacy and maintain their trust. Our focus is on engineering solutions that incorporate privacy by design principles. This emerging field requires thought leadership, creativity, and an ability to think outside the box to solve complex problems that impact not only Advertising, but the entire Amazon ecosystem.

About the Role

We're seeking a talented Software Development Engineer II to join our team. As a key member of our Customer Trust team, you'll have the opportunity to ideate, innovate, design, build, and deliver technology solutions that make a real impact. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment where you'll be challenged to cut through complexity and deliver simple, maintainable solutions to real-world problems. Your ability to communicate effectively with leadership and drive strategic initiatives will be essential in helping shape and deliver our product roadmap.

Key Qualifications
  • 3+ years of professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of experience in design or architecture of new and existing systems
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
