Job Title: Executive Chef

VMAT RESTAURANTS INC is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and cooking of complete meals and specialty foods for events and regular customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff to prepare and cook meals and specialty foods.
  • Develop and implement menus and recipes to meet customer demands and preferences.
  • Ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation standards are met.
  • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies to minimize waste and optimize efficiency.
  • Train and mentor staff on food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in a senior culinary role.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing kitchen teams.
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Work Environment:

Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction. As an Executive Chef, you will be expected to work in a team-oriented environment and be able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Language:

English is the primary language spoken in our kitchen, and we require all staff to be proficient in English.

Work Hours:

35-40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends.
