Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Medical Technologist to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership and technical skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the general operation of the laboratory, supervising other employees and providing technical assistance.
  • Maintain a safe environment in accordance with professional and provincial guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with quality assurance programs and maintain standards put forth by Accreditation.
  • Conduct functions in accordance with the Mission and Values of the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority, current policies, procedures, and applicable legislation.
Requirements
  • Minimum three years recent related work experience required.
  • Supervisory experience an asset.
  • Graduate of an approved Medical Laboratory Technology program with attained certification by CSMLS.
  • Current licensing with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Manitoba (CMLTM) required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced academic achievement (e.g. A.R.T. or B.Sc.) preferred.
  • Relevant courses or seminars preferred.
  • Windows computer environment required.
  • Microsoft Office programs required.
