Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Medical Technologist to join our team at Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a key member of our diagnostic services team, you will be responsible for supervising other employees, providing technical assistance, and maintaining a safe environment in accordance with professional and provincial guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of other employees in the delivery of diagnostic services.
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance to junior staff members.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to quality assurance programs and accreditation standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • Minimum three years of recent related work experience.
  • Supervisory experience is an asset.
  • Graduate of an approved Medical Laboratory Technology program with certification by CSMLS.
  • Current licensing with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Manitoba (CMLTM) is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced academic achievement (e.g. A.R.T. or B.Sc.).
  • Registration with the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS) is preferred.
  • Experience working in a Windows computer environment and Microsoft Office programs.
