Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Land Surveyor to join our team at Amray Land Surveying Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing survey plans, methods, and procedures for conducting legal surveys. They will also prepare all data and documents related to surveys of real property boundaries, read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements, and supervise other land surveyors and/or field crews.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop survey plans, methods, and procedures for conducting legal surveys
  • Prepare all data and documents related to surveys of real property boundaries
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Supervise other land surveyors and/or field crews
  • Plan, direct, and supervise or conduct surveys to establish legal boundaries of properties
  • Record all measurements and other information obtained during survey activities
  • Determine precise locations using electronic distance measuring equipment
  • Survey and lay out subdivisions for rural and urban development
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
