Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Land Surveyor to join our team at Amray Land Surveying Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing survey plans, methods, and procedures for conducting legal surveys. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop survey plans, methods, and procedures for conducting legal surveys
  • Prepare all data and documents related to surveys of real property boundaries
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Supervise other land surveyors and/or field crews
  • Plan, direct, and supervise or conduct surveys to establish legal boundaries of properties
  • Record all measurements and other information obtained during survey activities
  • Determine precise locations using electronic distance measuring equipment
  • Survey and lay out subdivisions for rural and urban development
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • Or equivalent experience
