Seasonal Air Tanker Pilot Opportunity

Forest Protection Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Air Tanker Pilot to join our team for the 2025 season. As a key member of our aerial firefighting team, you will be responsible for operating assigned aircraft in accordance with our Company Operations Manual and Standard Operating Procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate assigned aircraft in accordance with FPL's Company Operations Manual and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Adhere to instructions issued by officers of the Department of Natural Resources on fire suppression or instructions from the base manager when assigned to aerial application projects
  • Report all items requiring maintenance on the aircraft as soon as possible
  • Responsible for the cleanliness of the aircraft at all times
  • Work in a team environment during long hours of standby throughout the forest fire season
Requirements:
  • Commercial Pilot License-Fixed wing
  • Valid IFR is an asset
  • Preference will be given to candidates having experience with turbine engines and low altitude operations like aerial application or fire suppression
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English
  • Valid driver's license for travel within and outside the province
  • Valid passport
