Job Summary: Forest Protection Limited is seeking highly skilled and experienced pilots to operate assigned aircraft in accordance with our Company Operations Manual and Standard Operating Procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate assigned aircraft in accordance with FPL's Company Operations Manual and Standard Operating Procedures
- Perform all key job duties and any other assigned by the Flight Operations Management team from time to time
- Adhere to instructions issued by officers of the Department of Natural Resources on fire suppression or instructions from the base manager when assigned to aerial application projects
- Complete required pre-flight and post-flight paperwork in a timely and thorough manner
- Report all items requiring maintenance on the aircraft as soon as possible
- Responsible for the cleanliness of the aircraft at all times
Operational Requirements:
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
- Have a valid passport
- Have a modern smartphone with an up-to-date operating system capable of running secure company communication apps
- Have CSA-approved footwear
