Seasonal Air Tanker Pilot Opportunity

Forest Protection Limited is seeking highly skilled and experienced air tanker pilots to operate our fleet of AT802 aircraft in Fredericton, New Brunswick.

About the Role
  • Operate assigned aircraft in accordance with FPL's Company Operations Manual and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Adhere to instructions issued by officers of the Department of Natural Resources on fire suppression or instructions from the base manager when assigned to aerial application projects
  • Report all items requiring maintenance on the aircraft as soon as possible
  • Responsible for the cleanliness of the aircraft at all times
  • Work in a team environment during long hours of standby throughout the forest fire season
  • Re-positioning to other bases of operation may be required throughout the season, including short term fire suppression support to other Canadian provinces
Requirements
  • Commercial Pilot License-Fixed wing
  • Valid IFR is an asset
  • Experience with turbine engines and low altitude operations like aerial application or fire suppression is preferred
  • Valid driver's license for travel within and outside the province
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English
  • Valid passport
