Development Coordinator, Real Estate

We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Development team as a Development Coordinator, Real Estate. This role will play a crucial part in facilitating the planning and execution of residential, industrial, hotel, and retail projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate due diligence and feasibility studies for new development opportunities.
  • Manage deadlines and track progress for city applications, construction documentation, and regulatory duties.
  • Facilitate regulatory processes, including re-zoning, development permits, site plans, and building permits.
  • Research zoning ordinances, construction regulations, and environmental restrictions.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, construction companies, and property managers to ensure project success.
  • Provide general support to the Development team.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with city and administration staff.
  • Organize and participate in internal stakeholder meetings.
Requirements:
  • Excellent researching and analytical skills.
  • Understanding of real estate valuation and finance.
  • Previous experience in residential real estate, multi-family residential, and mixed-use projects.
  • Ability to multitask and remain detail-oriented.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Post-secondary degree in Real Estate, Land Use Planning, Business, or related field.
  • One year minimum experience in the residential real estate industry.
