Job Summary

The Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a skilled Real Estate Relationship Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Commercial Banking group, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients in the Real Estate industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional client service to a portfolio of Real Estate clients, delivering proactive and customized business and financial advice.
  • Apply your business development experience to prospect and lead generate new and existing Real Estate clients.
  • Apply your portfolio management and risk mitigation skills to review financial statements, identify trends, monitor risk, and assess for credit restructuring.
  • Leverage the expertise of RBC to identify referral opportunities and make introductions to RBC partners.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with various teams to develop and execute a client contact strategy.
  • Champion digital enablement by becoming an advocate of the RBC mobile application and wallet, promoting regular usage through educating and guiding clients on how to use it.

Requirements

  • 3 years commercial banking experience.
  • Specialized Real Estate industry expertise is preferred.
  • Proven track record in business development and exceptional client relationship management.
  • Credit skills including assessment of risk and financial analysis, credit structuring/solutions and presenting the deal.
  • Experience with emerging communications and technology (i.e., web-based meetings, social media, Digital Banking and Mobile Applications).
