We are seeking an ambitious and dynamic team player to fill the position of Receptionist in our Oakville office.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join a diverse group of people-centric professionals, leaders with vision, and rapid problem solvers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reception duties including greeting guests and maintaining visitor logs.
  • Creating and receiving purchase orders and following up with accounts payable as needed.
  • General office duties in the reception area.
  • Assisting the administrative assistant with additional tasks.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma.
  • 2-3 years' experience in an administrative role.
  • Intermediate level Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint).

Competencies:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, strong organization skills, ability to multitask, and determine priorities.
  • Professional phone manner.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Good team player.
  • Ability to exhibit diplomacy and tact in dealing with a wide variety of people and positions.

Working Conditions:

  • Nearly always work indoors in a corporate office environment with long periods of sitting.
  • May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels.
  • Employee may be required to perform considerable level of specific tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs, muscular action, body movements, working positions, posture changes, visual attentiveness.
