About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at McDonald's Restaurants. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our business runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and train a team of restaurant staff to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service and meet the high standards of our brand.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve restaurant performance, including sales growth, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
  • Operations and Logistics
    • Oversee the preparation and presentation of food and beverages to ensure that they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
    • Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving supplies, to ensure that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
    • Ensure that our restaurant is clean and well-maintained, including the dining area, kitchen, and restrooms.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that our customers receive exceptional service, including responding to customer complaints and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, including loyalty programs and promotions.
  • Financial Management
    • Manage the financial performance of the restaurant, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
    • Ensure that our restaurant is operating within budget and that we are meeting our financial targets.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
    • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent leadership and management skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build relationships with customers, staff, and suppliers.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
    • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
