About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at LA MARQUEZA MEXICAN FOODS. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of quality, service, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Analyze and manage the restaurant's budget to optimize profits, develop and implement cost-saving strategies, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Operational Efficiency: Evaluate and improve daily operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and supply chain optimization.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of staff members, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge necessary to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all customers receive a high level of service, responding promptly to complaints and concerns.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain customers, including social media promotion and community engagement.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that the restaurant meets all health and safety regulations, including food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including food, supplies, and equipment, to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
  • Event Planning: Plan and execute events, including catering and private functions, to meet customer needs and exceed expectations.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Certifications: Serving It Right Certificate.
