Key Responsibilities
  • Budget Management: Analyze and manage the restaurant's budget to optimize profits, including food, ingredient, and supply costs.
  • Operations Oversight: Evaluate and modify food preparation methods, menu prices, and daily operations to ensure efficiency and profitability.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, including food, ingredients, and supplies.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling and storage procedures.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Event Management: Plan and execute events, including catering and facility use.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, and strong attention to detail.
  • Certifications: Serving It Right Certificate.
