Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at LA MARQUEZA MEXICAN FOODS. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budget Management: Analyze and manage the restaurant's budget to optimize profits, including food, ingredients, labor, and supplies.
  • Operations Oversight: Evaluate and improve daily operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff performance.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns, and provide exceptional customer service to drive repeat business.
  • Marketing and Sales: Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales growth and increase customer loyalty.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, including food, ingredients, and supplies.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety and handling procedures.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
  • Supplier Management: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
  • Event Management: Plan and execute events, including catering and facility use.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Certifications: Serving It Right Certificate.
