Job Summary

Definity is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Actuarial Planning Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Corporate Actuarial department, you will be responsible for the timely completion of data collection and analyses associated with corporate financial planning processes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in actuarial sciences, mathematics, or statistics, and will have completed 3 to 5 exams of the Casualty Actuarial Society. You will also have 1 to 2 years of relevant full-time experience in property & casualty insurance planning, financial modeling, pricing, or reserving.

Key responsibilities will include developing and applying professional experience with spreadsheets, databases, and statistical software to compile and categorize data used in planning and exposure database. You will also maintain and update corporate planning tool for plan and reforecast cycles, produce analyses supporting assumptions that go into corporate planning tool, and produce exhibits and analysis relating to measuring and tracking of exposure.

As a team player, you will be expected to work collaboratively with numerous areas such as Finance, Risk Management, Claims, Pricing & Analytics, and the company's regional offices. You will also be responsible for clearly and effectively communicating key concepts and findings related to all responsibilities outlined above.

Salary range is $59,400 - $118,100, and actual salary may vary depending on work location and other factors. In addition to base pay, eligible employees may participate in various incentive plans.
