Are you a skilled actuary looking to make a meaningful impact in the retirement consulting industry? Aon is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Actuarial Associate to join our team in Vancouver.

This is a hybrid role that offers the flexibility to work virtually and from our office. As an Actuarial Associate, you will provide actuarial and administrative support to our local Retirement Actuarial Consulting team, working on various projects and tasks, including:

  • Preparing pension plan funding actuarial valuations, including data reconciliation, benefit calculations, and asset summaries;
  • Preparing actuarial valuations for accounting purposes;
  • Calculating benefit entitlements and preparing option packages on retirement, termination, death, and marriage breakdown;
  • Assisting consultants with day-to-day pension issues and questions;
  • Working with various Excel-based actuarial tools.
