Transforming Pension Plans with Expertise

At LifeWorks Inc., we're seeking an experienced Actuarial Principal to join our Defined Benefit Consulting practice. As a trusted advisor, you'll leverage your deep understanding of pension legislation and actuarial standards to develop strategic long-term plans for our clients' defined benefit pension plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide proactive and thoughtful consulting to deliver integrative solutions and oversee client service.
  • Effectively convey intricate actuarial concepts to clients and stakeholders in a concise and comprehensible manner.
  • Drive business growth by identifying new business opportunities and positioning LifeWorks Inc. as a leader in the market.
  • Foster the development of team members through coaching, mentoring, and regular feedback.
  • Promote and maintain visibility in the industry through presentations and workshops.
Requirements:
  • 15+ years of experience in defined benefit pension plan consulting.
  • Professional actuarial designation such as FCIA or FSA.
  • Solid understanding of pension legislation and actuarial standards.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, financial markets, and industry developments.
  • Strong client relationship management and leadership skills.
