Donor Relations Assistant

The Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre Foundation is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Donor Relations Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will play a vital role in building and sustaining a strong financial foundation for the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to donors, ensuring a positive and personalized experience.
  • Accurately enter donor information into our CRM system, maintaining the highest level of data integrity.
  • Process donations and issue timely and accurate tax receipts, adhering to Canada Revenue Agency guidelines.
  • Assist with event registrations, invoice processing, and tracking of gifts in kind.
  • Support the Donor Experience Officer in executing the Foundation's recognition strategy, including coordinating in-hospital signage.
  • Assist with stewardship and engagement events, as required.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary diploma or certificate in office administration, data base management, or fundraising.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in managing a database, including data entry, donation processing, and data integrity.
  • Proven experience in identifying opportunities for donor engagement and enhanced involvement.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, with intermediate to expert skills in Excel and running Mail Merges in Word.
  • Experience with Blackbaud products (Raisers Edge, NXT, Online Express, Importacular) an asset.
  • Knowledge of Canada Revenue Agency regulations for charitable tax receipts.
