Donor Relations Assistant

The Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre Foundation is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Donor Relations Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will play a vital role in building and sustaining a strong financial foundation for the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to donors, ensuring a positive and personalized experience.
  • Accurately enter donor information into our CRM system, maintaining the highest level of data integrity.
  • Process donations and issue timely and personalized thank-you letters, adhering to Canada Revenue Agency guidelines.
  • Assist with event registrations, invoice processing, and tracking donor engagement.
  • Support stewardship efforts, including preparing and distributing cultivation materials and coordinating recognition strategies.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary diploma or certificate in office administration, database management, or fundraising.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in managing a database, including data entry, donation processing, and data integrity.
  • Proven experience in identifying opportunities for donor engagement and enhanced involvement.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, with intermediate to expert skills in Excel and Mail Merges in Word.
  • Experience with Blackbaud products an asset.

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize work.
