Heavy Duty Equipment Technician

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Equipment Technician to join our team at SOUTH WEST BULK EXPRESS INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of heavy-duty equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order and manage inventory of spare parts
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication and cleaning
- Repair or replace defective parts, and adjust equipment as needed
- Attach components and calibrate new farm equipment
- Verify and repair emission control systems
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 2 years of experience in heavy-duty equipment maintenance
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
- Steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses, and gloves are required
Work Environment:
The Heavy Duty Equipment Technician will work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of heavy equipment. The position requires excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
