Our client, a leading energy producer, is seeking a highly skilled Payroll and Compensation Specialist to join their team for an initial 12-month contract.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a hybrid environment in Calgary, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll processes with other business functions.

  • Prepare and process payroll for all Canadian employees, including salaried, fixed-rate, temporary, and expatriate staff.
  • Maintain the accuracy of all payroll-related data and ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and local laws.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to maintain and update payroll policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will possess advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting, as well as experience with large ERP payroll systems, preferably SAP.
