About this Role

As a key member of our gaming operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of table games operations on an assigned area basis. This includes monitoring dealers, maintaining game integrity, and ensuring that all games are conducted in a precise, efficient, and secure manner according to our policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor dealers in an assigned area and maintain game integrity
  • Ensure that all games are conducted in a precise, efficient, and secure manner
  • Make changes to schedules as required
  • Provide input for coaching and mentoring employees
  • Participate in the implementation of table games strategic plans
  • Request fill/credit issuance as required
  • Verify cash/value transactions pertaining to floats, fills credits, and tips
  • Respond to, resolve, or escalate issues
  • Report irregularities and suspicious activities
  • Assist in allotting player seating and waiting lists
  • Maintain a tidy work area
  • Liaise and communicate effectively with all operational departments
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations

Requirements

  • High school diploma; post-secondary education or a suitable combination of education and experience is an asset
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in gaming is required
  • Knowledge and experience in a variety of table games is required (Roulette, Baccarat, Blackjack, UTH)
  • Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective, and service-oriented communication
  • Computer literacy in MS Office
  • Ability to successfully obtain a Responsible Beverage certification
  • Ability to successfully obtain and maintain a Gaming Registration within applicable province (New Brunswick)
  • Strong and accurate mathematical skills
  • Manual dexterity and the ability to stand for long periods of time
