About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Lions Bay General Store & Cafe. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales associates, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Customer Service: Foster a positive and welcoming environment for customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that stock is accurately recorded and that merchandise is displayed in an attractive and appealing manner.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, providing insights and recommendations to improve business performance.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints, supply shortages, and other operational challenges.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a retail or customer service environment.
  • Availability: Availability for shift or on-call work, as well as the advertised start date.
  • Legality: Current legal ability to work in Canada.
