About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at The Beach Lakefront Bar & Grill. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Operations Management
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that all food service operations run smoothly and efficiently.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future planning.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, consistently delivering exceptional customer experiences.
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • Experience in food service operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
    • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Client-focused and team-oriented, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
