Job Summary

Telford Food Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our food service facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of food service staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Quality Control and Customer Service
    • Establish and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service, ensuring that all customers receive an exceptional dining experience.
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Develop and implement effective work schedules, ensuring that all staff are utilized efficiently and effectively.
    • Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
    • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
Work Environment

Telford Food Services is a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and quality service. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be required to work in a standing position for extended periods, with regular walking and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
