Key Responsibilities- Operational Management
- Develop and implement effective operational procedures to meet business objectives.
- Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and labor expenses.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food safety standards.
- Team Leadership
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including training and development.
- Lead by example, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Quality Control
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Conduct regular quality checks and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Administrative Tasks
- Manage staff schedules, including time-off requests and leave.
- Process payroll and other administrative tasks.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to train and develop staff.
This is a permanent, full-time position with a 30-40 hour workweek. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to stand for extended periods.
LanguageThe primary language of work is English.
