Job Summary
The Quality Assurance Specialist will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of claims processing, while adhering to regulatory compliance and industry best practices. Key responsibilities include:
  • Reviewing and verifying claims information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Conducting call quality reviews to focus on customer experience.
  • Maintaining documentation to coordinate department-level workflows, audit processes, and associated compliance.
  • Maintaining awareness of industry trends and changes to ensure Echelon is prepared to respond in a manner consistent with our vision and values.
  • Supporting Senior Quality Assurance Specialists in delivering on quality assurance goals.
  • Driving change and continuous improvement, identifying issues and resolving challenges within the Claims Department.
  • Participating in special projects, targeted reviews, assignments, and other duties as assigned.


Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • 3-5 years of experience in the Property and Casualty insurance industry.
  • Prior experience with file review and call quality audits with knowledge of Claims Monitor.
  • Experience in creation and management of workflow processes with strong data analytics skills.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and claims workflows and procedures.
  • Post-secondary education in Insurance Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or industry experience preferred.
  • CIP / FCIP designation or working towards completion preferred.
