Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Aircraft Ground Service Attendant to join our team at Skyservice. As a key member of our ground handling team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient handling of aircraft on the ground.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely marshal in and out arriving and departing aircraft, taking care to secure the aircraft and provide car valet service, luggage handling as necessary;
  • Safely operate fuel trucks - fueling and completing aircraft orders;
  • Conduct aviation/jet fuel quality checks by performing various tests and procedures;
  • Document fuel quality and fueling equipment inspections on applicable forms;
  • Tow aircraft in and out of hangars and on aprons/ramps;
  • Provide ground services to aircraft, including connecting ground power units, lavatory waste disposal, and potable water;
  • Ensure readiness and replenishment of anti-ice equipment during winter snow events;
  • Maintain a professional appearance and conduct with customers and coworkers;
  • Maintain the cleanliness of all facilities and equipment;
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • High school Diploma or GED required;
  • Valid G Driver's License required;
  • Aviation experience is considered an asset;
  • Must be a team player with good communication skills;
  • Must have basic computer skills;
  • Excellent customer service skills;
  • Being mechanically-inclined is considered an asset;
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs;
  • Ability to work outside in a variety of weather/environmental conditions.
