Software Deployment Specialist

At BioScript Solutions, we're seeking a highly skilled Software Deployment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of software deployments, including planning, preparation, testing, execution, and monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain deployment plans for software updates and patching.
- Coordinate with development and security teams to ensure that the software meets all requirements.
- Ensure that deployments are executed on time and with minimal disruption to users.
- Monitor the system during and after deployment to ensure that it is functioning properly.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the deployment process.
- Ensure BioScript system remains in compliance by applying identified fixes and configurations.
- Communicate with all stakeholders regarding the status of the deployment.
- Continuously improve the deployment process, identifying and mitigating risks.
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in deployment, patching or a related field.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle and business impacts.
- Experience with deployment tools, such as Intune, MECM, WSUS or similar.
- Excellent communication, planning and interpersonal skills.
