We are seeking a seasoned Senior Customer Success Manager to join our team at Q2. This individual will be responsible for stewarding the success of a small portfolio of global financial institutions across their entire Q2 journey.



About the Role


  • Maintain strong, multi-level relationships with customers and internal partners to ensure a deep understanding of customers' business goals and align Q2 innovations accordingly.
  • Serve as a trusted source of information and guidance, ensuring valuable outcomes are consistently delivered to our customers.
  • Build a portfolio of lifelong customers that advocate for deep and expanded usage of Q2 solutions.


A Typical Day


  1. Build executive relationships and navigate complex org structures effectively.
  2. Provide insightful recommendations based on customer feedback and industry knowledge to improve our solutions for global FIs.
  3. Maintain and expand relationships with technology and industry peers for continuous learning.
  4. Communicate confidently and serve as a trusted partner.
  5. Develop a consulting mindset to understand customers' needs and provide solutions.
  6. Apply a keen sense of people's needs, present and anticipated.
  7. Connect with empathy and a genuine desire to help.
  8. Lead with strategy and inclusivity.
  9. Demonstrate strategic and analytical thinking and decision-making skills.
  10. Formulate success plans, iterate, and ensure delivery on commitments.
  11. Collaborate with teams and customers to build and deliver meaningful outcomes.
  12. Provide a depth and breadth of experience in financial services and/or banking technology.
  13. Apply a track record of creating value and expanding relationships with long-term clients.
  14. Share best practices with other team members.


Requirements and Qualifications


  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 12 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 8+ years of experience; or equivalent related work experience.
  • Extensive experience working in commercial banking and/or financial services consulting roles, directing complex customer relationships.
  • Digital banking technology and/or strategy experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to work effectively remotely and willingness to travel as needed.

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
