Position Overview
An Account Manager at Phibro Animal Health Corporation will create demand and add value through consultative and technical selling with key influencers and decision-makers in the beef and dairy industries. This includes producers, independent and/or feed company salespeople and/or nutritionists, veterinarians, and other influencers from current customers or distributors. The key objective is to achieve budgeted sales and gross margin for the Phibro ruminant product portfolio while effectively managing the expense budget in assigned geography.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a working knowledge of the Phibro beef product portfolio by comprehending the scientific principles behind each product and their application, as well as positioning features and benefits to meet customer needs.
- Build relationships and grow professional knowledge, experience, and connections by being present at trade shows and industry events.
- Provide product support for customers, key influencers, and end users, ensuring proper use of Phibro ruminant portfolio products.
- Manage all available resources for business growth and retention.
- Inform team members and business unit leadership of evolving issues/trends in the beef and dairy industries, as well as key activities and learnings with customers, key influencers, and end users.
- Contribute to business unit director, product director(s), and marketing partners on pricing of products and services to maximize customer value and margin contribution, sales support materials, and industry, customer, and competitive trends.
- Utilize Phibro's CRM system proactively and consistently.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in animal science, animal nutrition, or a related agriculture discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, requiring portfolio and value selling, product support, and a collaborative approach, preferably in the beef/dairy and/or feed industry.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the beef, dairy, and nutrition industry network.
- Experience with or willingness to learn CRM software.
