Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway (Saskatoon). As a key member of our restaurant operations team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Food Service Staff: Oversee the preparation and portioning of food, ensuring that all menu items are prepared to our high standards.
- Train and Develop Staff: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to our food service staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent customer service.
- Estimate and Manage Inventory: Accurately estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
- Manage Customer Service: Ensure that all customer complaints or concerns are addressed promptly and professionally, maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere in our restaurant.
- Prepare and Submit Reports: Prepare and submit regular reports on sales, stock, and other key performance indicators, providing valuable insights to our management team.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and maintaining high-quality food standards.
- Supervision: 5-10 people, including cooks, food and beverage servers, food service counter attendants, and kitchen and food service helpers.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, flexibility, and a team player attitude are essential for this role.
