Job Title: Construction Site Foreman/Woman

Wright Construction Services Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Site Foreman/Woman to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and organized individual to oversee the day-to-day activities on our construction sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Coordination: Co-ordinate and schedule activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and mentor a team of construction workers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed on site, and that workers are aware of and comply with these regulations.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports to management on project progress, including any issues or concerns.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed to the required standards.
Requirements:
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a construction site supervisory role.
  • Certifications: Leadership for Safety Excellence course, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Noisy construction site environment.
