Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Support Worker to join our team at Bridgewater Retirement Centre Inc.

Job Summary:

The Home Support Worker will provide personalized care and support to our residents, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care, ensuring the comfort and dignity of our residents.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, promoting healthy eating habits.
  • Provide companionship and engage in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Assist with light housekeeping and laundry duties, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Administer medications, as required, under the supervision of our healthcare team.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in a related field, an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
