About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Bridgewater Retirement Centre Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to residents, ensuring their dignity and comfort are maintained.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account residents' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Provide companionship and engage residents in activities that promote socialization and mental stimulation.
  • Assist with light housekeeping and laundry duties, maintaining a clean and comfortable living environment.
  • Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals, ensuring accurate and timely administration.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in a related field is an asset.
