About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Bridgewater Retirement Centre Inc. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming, ensuring their personal hygiene needs are met.
  • Medication Administration: Safely administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Household Management: Assist with laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation, maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, engaging in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Health and Wellness: Assist residents with exercise, mobility, and other activities that promote physical and mental well-being.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Experience an asset
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
