About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Support Worker to join our team at Bridgewater Retirement Centre Inc. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Household Tasks: Assist with laundry, cleaning, and other household chores.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to our residents.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals to our residents.
  • Light Housekeeping: Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as changing linens and cleaning.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
