About the Job:This industrial equipment technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of machinery and equipment used in industrial settings.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical repair and maintenance, as well as excellent problem-solving skills.
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:- Maintain and repair industrial equipment, including pumps, motors, and conveyor systems
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems
- Perform repairs and replacements using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
- Collaborate with other technicians and production staff to resolve equipment-related issues
- Document all work completed, including repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting efforts
- Diploma or certificate in a related field (e.g., industrial mechanics, maintenance engineering)
- At least 3 years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance and repair
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical controls
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
