About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Hospitality Team Lead to join our team at O Sushi. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a food service supervisor or in a similar leadership role. You will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our kitchen and front-of-house staff, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen and front-of-house staff, ensuring efficient service delivery and maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring effective inventory management.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business improvement.
  • Establish work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels and maximizing productivity.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience as a food service supervisor or in a similar leadership role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Familiarity with restaurant operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and motivate staff.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
