Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Video Director to join our team at Flagship Media Records. As a key member of our production team, you will oversee the artistic aspects of various projects, from film and theater productions to live events and musical recordings.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position with an estimated 30-35 hours of work per week. You will be responsible for supervising staff, planning and coordinating the production of musical recordings, and directing musicians and singers during rehearsals and recording sessions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise staff in various areas of responsibility
  • Create dances for film, theater, and television
  • Direct rehearsals for dancers to achieve desired interpretation
  • Plan, organize, and direct the artistic aspects of production
  • Oversee the design of sets, costumes, furnishings, and props
  • Plan and coordinate the production of musical recordings
  • Direct musicians and singers during rehearsals and recording
  • Coordinate and direct the photography of production
  • Determine lighting, lenses, camera angles, and backgrounds
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., fine arts, theater, music)
  • At least 3 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Punjabi language proficiency (asset)

Work Environment

You will work primarily in a sound studio, but may also be required to work outdoors or in concert halls/stages. The noisy environment requires employees to wear ear protection while working.
