Property Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our rental properties. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our properties and providing exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Supervise Staff: Recruit and manage a team of rental agents and building superintendents to ensure the efficient operation of our properties.
  • Negotiate Leases: Negotiate or approve rental or lease agreements on behalf of property owners, ensuring that terms are met and mutually beneficial.
  • Manage Maintenance: Coordinate the implementation of repairs, maintenance, and renovations, monitoring progress and costs to ensure optimal results.
  • Financial Management: Compile and maintain records on operating expenses and income, preparing expense and income reports to inform business decisions.
  • Client Support: Respond promptly to client inquiries and concerns, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues efficiently.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees
  • Settlement Support: Assist newcomers and refugees with immediate settlement needs, such as housing, transportation, and other essential services.
  • Mentorship Programs: Offer mentorship programs that pair newcomers and refugees with experienced employees, promoting cultural understanding and integration.
Support for Indigenous People
  • Cultural Competency: Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees, creating a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
  • Mentorship and Coaching: Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for Indigenous workers, promoting career development and advancement.
