About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Management Agent to join our team at Duka Property Management Inc. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our properties, ensuring that they are well-maintained and that our clients are satisfied with the service they receive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Supervise Staff: You will be responsible for hiring and supervising a team of rental agents and building superintendents to ensure that our properties are well-managed and that our clients receive excellent service.
  • Lease Agreement Management: You will ensure that the terms of lease agreements are met, and that our clients are aware of their responsibilities and obligations.
  • Contract Administration: You will prepare and administer contracts for property services, such as maintenance, and ensure that they are executed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Repair and Maintenance Coordination: You will coordinate the implementation of repairs, maintenance, and renovation projects to ensure that our properties are well-maintained and that our clients are satisfied with the service they receive.
  • Financial Management: You will monitor the progress and cost of work for property owners, and compile and maintain records on operating expenses and income.
  • Reporting: You will prepare expense and income reports to ensure that our clients are informed about the financial performance of their properties.
  • Client Communication: You will ensure that our clients receive excellent service and that their concerns are addressed in a timely and efficient manner.
Supervision and Security
  • Supervision: You will supervise a team of 5-10 people, ensuring that they are well-trained and equipped to perform their duties.
  • Security Clearance: You will ensure that all staff members undergo a criminal record check before being hired.
Work Environment
  • Work Schedule: You will work 40 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
  • Language: You will work in English.
  • Transportation: Public transportation is available.
